Up on the curing rack is the new gemstone for March, which is Aquamarine. I have a lot of fun making these soaps and using new techniques! My original thought was to make each gem soap in time for the month that it represents. However, I have decided now to just make them as I think of them. So, on either Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm going to make Diamond soap, which is (one) of the gemstones for April. I'm not sure when I'll make May's gemstone (I already have the design in mind), but it will probably be soon. Once I get all the gemstones made, I will most likely put together a set, which will have a discount. Since my batch sizes are limited, I will only put together a few sets and leave the remaining soaps for sale separately. I think I might do this every year~ but the great thing is, I'm not going to do the same design every time, so this year's Garnet may look different next year. This allows me to be more creative, which I like! :) At the bottom of this post is a short survey for me to assess the interest in a gemstone set, so if you feel so inclined, please let me know! Happy Monday!
